How to access multiple email

If you have more than one Thrift Internet email address, we recommend using the built-in ability of most email software to create separate identities or profiles for each email account or access the mail using our Webmail system.

If you wish to use an email program like Outlook Express or Netscape Email to access more than one email account, it is best to use the program's ability to create new Identities (Outlook Express) or Profiles (Netscape). Eudora also has a means of managing more than one email account.

We have included instructions for setting up Outlook Express, Entourage, Netscape and Eudora to manage multiple email accounts in the configuration section of the Mail & News page. To see these directions, click on the email software and version (Windows or Macintosh) then click the link at the top of the page.

 


Help us help you! If you contact Thrift Internet support for assistance please write down any error messages you get when trying to connect to the Internet. Include the name and version of your operating system and the exact text of all error messages. If this information is included in an online case submission or provided to a support representative, it will greatly speed up the troubleshooting process.

Please be aware that some troubleshooting may require uninstallation and reinstallation of operating system files. To ensure that this type of troubleshooting can be accomplished if required, please be sure that you have to have original Operating System CD or Operating system source files on disk on hand.
